It’s that time of year again. Time to update our postpartum depression resources on Postpartum Progress. Our listings are an invaluable resource to moms around the country, and the world, seeking help. You are a very important part of creating them.

Here’s what you need to do:

Visit our postpartum depression support groups page. Take a look at the listing for your own state or country. Then:

1) If you know of a support group that is free and meets regularly (at least once a month) and is not listed, please tell us about it so we can add it to our page. You can email us the information about the group to postpartumprogress@gmail.com

2) If you see a support group listed on our page that no longer exists, please let me know. We don’t want to list any groups that no longer meet, as it can be very frustrating for a mother to think she has found some help and then learn it’s not available anymore.

Note we currently do not have any support groups listed for the following ten states: Arkansas, Connecticut, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia and Wyoming. Also please note that we welcome support information from any country and are happy to list it.

Also, if you know of a new statewide or countrywide non-profit support organization that is working locally to help women who suffer with postpartum depression or related illnesses, please help us make sure it is listed on our postpartum depression organizations page.

Please take the time this week to do this. You never know how many mothers you may be helping by ensuring our list is as accurate and comprehensive as possible. Thank you!!!!!!
