Screening Bill Introduced in IL State Legislature

Postpartum psychosis survivor Mary Howorth has shared with me that she has been working with members of the Illinois state legislature to get postpartum depression legislation passed to require perinatal mood disorder screening. The bill, called the Postpartum Mood Disorders Prevention Act, has finally been introduced by state Senator Don Harmon (D).
