    I find it sad that soo many are unwilling to accept that she could have PSTD. Luckily I had a great doctor so didn't experience that so much…but I have heard many horror stories from friends of similar treatment during delivery. Hopefully stories like this will wake people up and maybe change some things..

    The only thing I would add to these great articles is that even an all-natural homebirth with no medical complications or inteventions can caused post-partum ptsd if your practicioner is uncaring and inattentive. I would also add that previous experiences of trauma are more likely to make you vulnerable to post-partum ptsd even if nothing goes medically wrong with your birth (and probably especially if it does).
