I have some exciting news. At least I hope you'll think it's exciting. Postpartum Progressis becominga non-profit organization.

I want to be able to do even more to support women with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I'd like to be able to raise money via grants (which Icannot do as an individual), as well ascontinued donations from individuals and organizations, so that I can expand the reach of Postpartum Progress to even more women.

To be clear, my goal is in no way to compete with the wonderful organizations that already exist, but instead to complement their workwith my own area of focus — technology and social media. I will spend my time on peer supportthat reaches and educates womendirectly through variousinternet platforms, while continuing to support the work of PSI and others. One of my objectives is to identify and implement ways of reaching underserved populations who do not currently have access to the latest technology.

SoonI will introduce you to Postpartum Progress Inc.'s inaugural board of directors. I am so SO EXCITED that these people have agreed to helpguidethis project by offering their own ideas and expertise.I amHUMBLED that they are willing to be part of this.

Oh, and I'll still be bloggingaway, trying to erase stigma and share the latest news and connect you to the help you need and deserve.
