Nancy Roberts, PSIco-coordinator forMichigan,has just informed me that Michigan's Governor Granholm has declared May 2010 as Postpartum Depression Awareness Month. She said that the Kent County Perinatal Mood Disorder Coalition as well as MomsBloom were instrumental in getting the very first proclamation of this kind ever in Michigan to help recognize the importance of public awareness regarding postpartum depression. Awesome job ladies!
